Bruce Willis stepped onto the bright red carpet last night in London to promote his new film RED alongside costar Helen Mirren andMary-Louise Parker.

Bruce admitted that it’s hard to combine romance, comedy and action but thinks they pulled it off in RED.

When asked what it was like working with Dame Helen Mirren he replied “Great, she’s so sexy, so cute, gracious, great manors, very British”.

Bruce has his eye on both Jake Gyllennhaal and Justin Timberlake, saying he would “trust them, they’re tough”.

RED focuses on Bruce Willis’ character Frank Moses who’s idyllic life is threatened by a high-tech assassin. The former black-ops agent reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive.

Kimberley Marren braved the cold and rain to talk to the stars of the film for The Fan Carpet. Look out for the full interviews on the homepage later today!

Anne Hathaway says sex-scenes in new film had her crying daily
20 October, 2010 Author: Catagories: Love and Other Drugs, News & Headlines

Anne Hathaway described how emotionally terrified she was acting out raunchy sex scenes with actor Jake Gyllenhaal in their upcoming movie “Love & Other Drugs” in an interview with Vogue magazine released Monday.

“This movie certainly has a lot of nerve,” Hathaway, 27, told the fashion magazine about the love story between a free-spirited but gravely ill woman named Maggie — played by Hathaway — who becomes involved with a Viagra salesman named Jamie (Gyllenhaal).

Hathaway and Gyllenhaal, 29, have acted together before when they played a married couple in the 2005 romantic drama “Brokeback Mountain.”

Anne Hathaway described how emotionally terrified she was acting out raunchy sex scenes with actor Jake Gyllenhaal in their upcoming movie “Love & Other Drugs” in an interview with Vogue magazine released Monday.

“These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off — in a way, their bodies are their currency,” said the actress, most famous for her role in “The Devil Wears Prada.”

“I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day,” she continued. “I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I’m used to. I’m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart.”

Hathaway also described how the emotional pain of her character mirrored the drama of her own personal life after her split from ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri — who is currently in prison for swindling investors out of millions of dollars.

When asked about relationship deal breakers for her in future, she joked, “Uh . . . fraud?”

“Love and Other Drugs” will be released in theaters on November 24.

Paltrow a "Nightmare Hormonal Mess" Working With Gyllenhaal
19 October, 2010 Author: Catagories: News & Headlines

At ELLE’s 17th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute, Jake Gyllenhal honored Gwyneth Paltrow, his costar in the 2005 drama Proof.

“Bottom line, she is not a mere mortal like the rest of us,” the actor, 29, said in his introduction. “She is an Internet-savvy, award-winning, lifestyle guru, making all of us look lazy. She doesn’t just find a nice guy to settle down with — she marries a rock star and then domesticates him. She doesn’t just cook — she goes to Spain with Mario Batali and then domesticates him! She is not just a lifestyle guru, but she invents a whole new fitness movement and then convinces me to try it, and I do it, and I am, therefore, domesticated … sweating my ass off in spandex, which is humbling and embarrassing.”

When Paltrow, 38, took the stage, she said she didn’t have a speech because, “I kind of wanted to speak from my heart.” And she was more candid than ever.

“Jake is gorgeous and hilarious and when we worked together in Proof, I was pregnant and I was a f****** nightmare hormonal mess, but we managed to stay friends through it anyways,” she said.

Since Proof, she said, “I had my kids and everything really changed for me, so I feel so honored that you are honoring me because I feel like I have shifted focus so much.

“I have this really great guy [Coldplay’s Chris Martin], and these two great kids, and I feel like that was all a process of getting me to where I am.

“I am a woman in Hollywood and I am a mother in Hollywood and I come from a woman in Hollywood, my mother Blythe,” she concluded. “I think that she did such a good job teaching me how to be a woman in Hollywood, teaching me god values, and I hope to pass that on to my kids.”
