Hitting theaters today is Denis Villeneuve‘s taut, entertaining kidnapping thriller Prisoners, which recently debuted to strong acclaim. Serving as his studio break-out following the Oscar-nominated drama Incendies, the helmer actually shot another film in between, which also debuted at Toronto International Film Festival.

Marking his first collaboration with Jake Gyllenhaal, Enemy is mysterious thriller that delves into subconscious of a man in emotional crisis, who finds his doppelganger (or is it?) living nearby. Our first footage has now landed, which doesn’t show off a double dose of our lead, but instead finds him lecturing to his class as we get a glimpse inside his personal life. Check out the promising first clip below, along with the first poster for the film also starring Mélanie Laurent, Sarah Gadon and Isabella Rossellini.
