The 2015 Toronto Film Festival screening schedule is now online. ‘Demolition’ will have its world premiere on September 10th at 8:00 PM. Jake is expected to attend, according to the official press release.

So I love talking to eager audiences about the craft, and the foundation allows that. Also, I have watched conversations with other actors and learned so much from the things that the foundation has done. When I see actors discuss their process, and when I’ve had the honor to do it, it makes you look at your own work in a different way.”

Jake Gyllenhaal has signed a first look production deal with Bold Films.

The actor previously worked with Bold as a producer on Nightcrawler, in which he played an aspiring L.A. crime video journalist.

“We are thrilled to be back in business with Jake. I truly enjoy our artistic collaboration,” said Bold Films chairman Michel Litvak. “His impeccable taste in projects and deep knowledge of how to make high quality films make him a formidable producer.”

Gyllenhaal will have the opportunity to acquire and develop new material thorugh the new deal. Riva Marker is set as production executive for Gyllenhaal’s new company.

Following “Southpaw’s” strong performance at the box office, Jake Gyllenhaal looks to have his eye on another underdog tale, this time following the tragic events of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Sources tell Variety that Gyllenhaal is in early talks to star in Lionsgate’s “Stronger,” which tells the true story of Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman, who lost both legs in the attack. Sources say that after execs met with several A-list actors, Gyllenhaal is the favorite to land the role and that an offer is expected to come shortly.

Lionsgate had no comment.

David Gordon Green recently signed on to direct the pic. John Pollono has adapted the script for “Stronger,” which marks his full-length feature debut.
